Leg 2 - Chinatown
Every Ticket comes with a draw string back pack, a bottle of water, a souvenir map, and a sweet treat.
On Leg 2 you'll not only pass under the Chinatown Gate but you'll also pass by many other tour guides so you'll at least get to hear a few bits of quality information before SK starts in with his interpretation of history. (He sure knows a lot about 19th century brothels)
Chinatown's Dragon Gate
St. Mary's Park and Cathedral
Historic Grant Street
Tin How Temple
Hang Ah Alley
Willy "Woo Woo" Wong Playground
Donaldina Cameron House
Stockton St. Markets
Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory
Bank of Canton/Telephone Exchange
Meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, 12:30pm, at the Hotel Triton (342 Grant Ave. SF, 94108). This leg ends at Portsmouth Square about 3:00pm.
The walk is about 1 mile on mostly moderate to slightly strenuous hills. Restrooms are available along the way but not all will be comfortable with the facilities. Cookies and tea sampling are included on the tour.
